A new ISIL linked group, ISGS (Islamic State of Greater Sahara), within the Sahel Region of Africa. All persons in this area should be alert to a heightened risk of terrorist activity and a greater risk of "infighting" among ISGS and other organization in the area. The area includes, but is not limited to, the countries of Niger, Nigeria, Chad, Sudan, and Mali. A separate, follow-on report covering other events in Ghana will be published later today.
